'Dutch Amazonia. Indian trade 1580-1680' is the title of the dissertation by Lodewijk Hulsman. The study, based primarily on Dutch archives, considers the Dutch-Indian trade relations and the impact of Dutch settlement on these relations in the period 1580-1680.
